I have stayed here many times and would stay here again. the setting was peaceful and lovely. the location is very close to Glastonbury, the Somerset Levels, and a pretty garden. We had tea and goodies at Bellagio Patisserie, nestled just 1 km from the hotel.

I recently stayed at The Potting Shed for a peaceful retreat and couldn't have asked for more. The hosts, Matthew and Karin, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful details like tea served in Spode China and silver cutlery. The garden and allotment were absolutely gorgeous, and I loved the fresh tomatoes and herbs from their cottage garden at breakfast. The homemade sourdough, jam, and marmalade were delicious, and the overall ambiance was relaxed and serene. The location was also convenient for exploring nearby towns like Glastonbury.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Rewritten Review: We had a great time during our one-night stay at the Potting Shed. Our room was spacious with an en suite bathroom and came equipped with everything we needed, including a study table, coffee/tea amenities, and a radio.

The self-contained retreat was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the garden was delicious and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The location in the quiet village was also a plus.
The lack of a television was a downside, especially when wanting to watch a special program. The mobile signal was also weak in the surrounding area, making it difficult to make calls or use the sat nav.

I had a fantastic Christmas getaway at a self-contained retreat in a charming village. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and their kitchen garden was a delight to explore. I loved the friendly chickens roaming around the property and the variety of hot tea and coffee available. The homemade hazel bread for breakfast was simply divine, and the proper coffee made each morning a real treat. The location was key, allowing me to easily visit nearby towns and attractions. the hosts' hospitality, the beautiful garden, and the delicious breakfast made my stay unforgettable.
Honestly, I struggled to find anything negative about my experience. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable and spacious room to the peaceful and quiet environment.
